Worth Abbey Retreat 2024 for our parishioners!
All Parishioners of St John’s, St Philip’s in Uckfield and St Mary’s are invited to residential retreat to Worth Abbey. Theme: Preparing for Advent led by Fr Peter of Worth Abbey. Cost: £195 per person single occupancy. Who can come: Anyone aged over 18. Staying: At St Bruno’s guesthouse.

About the event
All Parishioners of St John’s in Herons Ghyll, St Philip’s in Uckfield and St Mary’s in Crowborough are invited to This join our first combined Parish residential retreat to Worth Abbey. There will be an opportunity to spiritually prepare for Advent, to join in the Benedictine Monastic Liturgy and daily Mass, to listen to talks from a monk of Worth Abbey and to get to know each other better. There will be time for silence, for prayer and for walks.
Time: Arrive 4.30pm on Tuesday 26th Nov & depart after lunch at 2.30pm on Thursday 28th
Theme: Preparing for Advent led by Fr Peter of Worth Abbey
Cost: £195 per person single occupancy ensuite room. £10 per person discount for shared occupancy
Who can come: Anyone aged over 18
Staying: At St Bruno’s guesthouse with comfortable rooms which are mainly ensuite and with good food
